Shout out to all entrepreneurs out there who make it happen every damn day.
And I’m proud to say “I made it”. Or rather we made it. Together.
I quit my stable job at the European Parliament to pursue my entrepreneurial dream – which had been active ever since my first project with my brother Michel Legnered. We developed a website to buy and sell recycled furniture. This was way back in 2006 just as I had finished my studies. The dream remained while I instead decided to develop my career.
8 years of intense work – for an international business, a digital communications agency and the European Parliament – prepared me for what was yet to come: Building a business in Ghana, Africa.
Every step. Every encounter. Every moment. Is a preparation for the next adventure.
I’m proud to have been part of building The Power Station Ghana. This past year has offered challenges, laughters and plenty of AHA-moments. Most of all, our team has grown to 10. Each individual team member a blessing and an honor to work with. Beautiful, intelligent and creative minds. You are the backbone of The Power Station. You are the ones who bring meaning to the concept of Meaningful Marketing.
This week I take the opportunity to give gratitude to this amazing Power Team. And to my Co-Founder Guillermo Castells. Without you I wouldn’t be in Ghana, the country of happiness, positive energy and heroes.
Smile and you go far. Aspire and you achieve. Combine and be happy.
